This project involved the design and construction of a dedicated listening room centered around the Kyron Audio Phoenix system. Kyron Audio systems are world-class, and designed and built here in Australia. They are systems for dedicated audiophiles only, and provide an incredible sound stage with amazing reproduction from their dipole, boxless speakers.

This room is a box within a box. The inner room is completely insulated from the outside world so as to protect it from any external noise pollution. The walls are designed to have no parallels from side to side, to reduce sound reflections. The acoustic panelling along the walls neutralises reflection, while also hiding storage spaces behind. The rear wall features vertical louvres that not only protect sound, but also hide a venting for the room’s silent climate control system.

This room was designed by Deverson Design in consultation with Kyron Audio. The owner is a long-term Kyron client.
